Rapture: Lauren Kate

Okay, if you read my recommendation of Passion you know that after two books of  “like teetering on love” this series took a turn for the best!
I totally recommend this series with 5 stars and love how it ended.

Amazon Summary:
RAPTURE, the fourth & final FALLEN novel, is the Lauren Kate book the world has been waiting for.

The sky is dark with wings. . . .
Like sand through an hourglass, time is running out for Luce and Daniel. To stop Lucifer from erasing the past, they must find the place where the angels fell to earth.
Dark forces are after them, and Daniel doesn’t know if he can do this—live only to lose Luce again and again. Yet together they face an epic battle that will end with lifeless bodies . . . and angel dust. Great sacrifices are made. Hearts are destroyed.
And suddenly Luce knows what must happen. For she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. The curse they’ve borne has always and only been about her—and the love she cast aside. The choice she makes now is the only one that truly matters. In the fight for Luce, who will win?
The astonishing conclusion to the FALLEN series. Heaven can’t wait any longer.

Review of Passion: Lauren Kate

Okay, I liked the first book Fallen then when I read the next one Torment (although the end started getting more interesting) I was still like in like, not love, but then when I read this one…

Here’s the thing, I FELL IN LOVE!

Not only that, but I loved it and immediately picked up the fourth and final book Rapture and I loved that one too!

So if you liked the first two, keep reading and I swear you won’t be disappointed with the crazy twists and turns of the third and fourth.
5 stars and recommend.

Amazon Summary:
Luce would die for Daniel.

And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .

Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.

Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.

Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.

Crossed: Ally Condie

Crossed is book number two in  the Matched series.
I liked Matched, but I enjoyed Crossed even more!

I can’t wait for the third installment Reached to come out later this month!

So I give this book 5 stars and totally recommend it!

Amazon Summary:
In search of a future that may not exist and faced

with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia
journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky—
taken by the Society to his certain death—only to
find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues
in his wake.
Cassia’s quest leads her to question much of what
she holds dear, even as she finds glimmers of a
different life across the border. But as Cassia nears
resolve and certainty about her future with Ky, an
invitation for rebellion, an unexpected betrayal, and
a surprise visit from Xander—who may hold the key
to the uprising and, still, to Cassia’s heart—change
the game once again. Nothing is as expected on the
edge of Society, where crosses and double crosses
make the path more twisted than ever.

DIVERGENT by Veronica Roth

SUMMARY:

In Beatrice Prior’s dystopian Chicago world, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue–Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is–she can’t have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.

During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles alongside her fellow initiates to live out the choice they have made. Together they must undergo extreme physical tests of endurance and intense psychological simulations, some with devastating consequences. As initiation transforms them all, Tris must determine who her friends really are–and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes exasperating boy fits into the life she’s chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she’s kept hidden from everyone because she’s been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers unrest and growing conflict that threaten to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves . . . or it might destroy her.

THOUGHTS: My absolute favorite books of 2012! Read it now!
