Rapture: Lauren Kate

Okay, if you read my recommendation of Passion you know that after two books of  “like teetering on love” this series took a turn for the best!
I totally recommend this series with 5 stars and love how it ended.

Amazon Summary:
RAPTURE, the fourth & final FALLEN novel, is the Lauren Kate book the world has been waiting for.

The sky is dark with wings. . . .
Like sand through an hourglass, time is running out for Luce and Daniel. To stop Lucifer from erasing the past, they must find the place where the angels fell to earth.
Dark forces are after them, and Daniel doesn’t know if he can do this—live only to lose Luce again and again. Yet together they face an epic battle that will end with lifeless bodies . . . and angel dust. Great sacrifices are made. Hearts are destroyed.
And suddenly Luce knows what must happen. For she was meant to be with someone other than Daniel. The curse they’ve borne has always and only been about her—and the love she cast aside. The choice she makes now is the only one that truly matters. In the fight for Luce, who will win?
The astonishing conclusion to the FALLEN series. Heaven can’t wait any longer.

Review of Passion: Lauren Kate

Okay, I liked the first book Fallen then when I read the next one Torment (although the end started getting more interesting) I was still like in like, not love, but then when I read this one…

Here’s the thing, I FELL IN LOVE!

Not only that, but I loved it and immediately picked up the fourth and final book Rapture and I loved that one too!

So if you liked the first two, keep reading and I swear you won’t be disappointed with the crazy twists and turns of the third and fourth.
5 stars and recommend.

Amazon Summary:
Luce would die for Daniel.

And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .

Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.

Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history.

Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames . . . forever.

Dear John- Nicholas Sparks

I heard about the movie and knew it would be a must see for a girl’s night out, but also knew that I needed to read the book first.
For some reason when I go see movies based on books first, I never want to read the book because I have all these preconceived ideas about the book.

So I read the book and it is very classic Nicholas Sparks, but don’t take that as a slant. I’ve found Sparks’ books to be very romantic and heart felt. Although I did see this and it made me laugh really hard.

Anyways, I will say this. I liked how the movie turned out a lot better than how the book turned out. That said, I still totally recommend the book.
Classic Sparks’, nothing new there, but it’s a good read and I enjoyed it.

4 out of 5 stars.

Redeeming Love- Francine Rivers

I read this book years ago and it changed my life.

Not that this was the most amazing, phenomenal book that was ever written. But because when I read this book, I realized for the first time the power of the written word. It was also when I decided that I wanted to be an author of fiction.

Great love story.

Makes me cry every time I read it.

5 stars and TOTALLY recommend!
