Adam- Ted Dekker

I likey!

I was on a serial killer kick this summer and some of them can get pretty creepy. So I ventured into the Christian Fiction to get my fix and I was pleasanty surprised!

Totally creepy main character and good story development.

5 stars and I totally recommend!

Fallen- Lauren Kate

I was recommended this book by a friend of mine who depicted it as right up my alley.
Okay, so she was right.
I do majorly indulge in the teen-mania fantasy books.
I can’t help it.
It’s the kid in me!

So anyways, I’ll go ahead and give the book 3 out of 5 stars.

It’s written as a series and definitely the end has you wanting more, but then you see that the next one doesn’t come out for another year.

FAIL!

But all in all a nice easy read. Not the best written book I’ve ever read, but not the worst.

All in all:
Recommend

Boneman’s Daughter- Ted Dekker

I got this book and Adam when I left for Israel in July.

Ted Dekker’s books almost always have good summaries on the back, but they don’t always keep my attention.

However, Boneman’s Daughter was great!

I really enjoyed it and it was a serial killer-esq book.

5 stars and totally recommend it!

Mortal Instruments Series- Cassandra Clare

This one was also a Stephenie Meyer recommendation and let me say…

LOVED the whole series!

I mean, yes they are young adult oriented so the writing is a little, “like, so totally awesome”, but I really enjoyed the series.

They have basically got your whole gambit of fantasy characters and really interesting twists.  Plus the love story. Gotta have the love story.

5 stars and I like, totally recommend them!

The Road- Cormac McCarthy

Great book!

Totally enjoyed it.

Very cryptic in the fact that it doesn’t really explain itself very well, but I feel like that is part of why you keep reading.

I even cried at the end. sniff.

5 stars and definitely recommend it!
